Terms of Service
By using Miru, you agree to these terms.
Your Account
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all photos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us the rights necessary to host, display, and share it according to your visibility settings. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload any content.
Storage Limits
Every account has a storage quota, shown in your profile settings. Uploads are refused once you reach it — we never delete your photographs to make room, and we never silently compress them to fit. If your quota is reduced, what you have already uploaded stays; you simply cannot add more until you are under the limit.
Acceptable Use
Don't use Miru to upload illegal content, infringe on others' rights, harass users, or abuse our infrastructure.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. A suspended account cannot sign in, and its content stops being served, but nothing is deleted — so a suspension can be lifted. Before we delete anything we will tell you and give you time to export it, unless the law requires otherwise.
You can close your own account at any time from settings or from the app. That one is immediate and irreversible: it removes your profile, every photo and video, every album and post, and the stored files. Export first if you want your photographs.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Miru available and your data safe, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We recommend keeping backups of important photos.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
